Lonnnnng time, no tawkkk

We're backkkk.....

Sorry I've been MIA for so long. I have so much going on right now and it feels like no time to use the bathroom alone, let alone relive the day's happenings.

Here is the long update:

Josiah
Josiah is doing great! He has been potty trained since early June and is doing perfectly, except for taking an occasional crap in some hidden place and me finding it later only because of the scent..thank God those days are few and far between. He is a chatterbox and is always singing and making us laugh, like any other toddler. He is still not crazy about Ella which bothers me a bit, but I guess its kind of normal. Once in a while he will play with her since she cracks up at everything he does, but usually he just lives to take toys away from her . We have started a small preschool curricuum since I desire to homeschool and he is doing well. He can write some letters now and recognizes them all. And he can write the first 4 letters of his name. I figure even if I dont homeschool, its great preparation.

Ella
...sweet Ella. Her smile lights up the room and it seems like her eyes twinkle. Shes very independent and likes to venture out on her own. Shes thisclose to crawling and has taken a few crawling steps, but still not there. She grew out of size 18 mos and is now in 24 mos but I think she is finally starting to stretch out. She loveeees her brother and goes crazy when she sees him. Her hair is getting pretty long and is very curly, and the exact same color as mine. She absolutely adores her big brother and whenever she is near him she laughs and tries to get a hold of him...the feeling is anything but mutual but she gets an A for effort. She is generally very happy and rarely cries....ahh if every baby were that easy!

As for us, we are doing well. We've been in the townhome for 5 mos now and its coming along. We finally have furniture and some paint up, and will continue to work on it. Its just soooooo much work with the 2 kids....and trying to keep it clean is a whole other story!

ANyway...stay tuned and I promise to keep this thing up. Pictures coming soon...

Josiah and his shapes...

Bad habits...

Somehow Josiah's index finger seems to be crazy-glued inside his nose...*sigh* hahaha

He, for some reason, like to stick his hand in his diaper to show me the mess he has just made (as if I can't smell it)

He picks the skin from his top lip (I must admit, he learned this from me).

And he likes to announce the bodily functions of OTHERS, but not himself. Long ago were the day you could try to pass off your bodily function in public...no way, Jose. Josiah doesn't miss a beat!
